Anyone ever heard of Advent Calenders? At least, I think that's what they're called. It's a small box with windows labeled one to twenty four, and on each of the 24 days of Christmas, you get to open a window and eat a chocolate. Well I had a question. How many people are going to eat the chocolate for the 20th- 24th because they think the world is going to end the next day? And then, when the world doesn't end, they won't have anything left to celebrate the last few days before Christmas. Usually people do crazy things on those kinds of days.

A Writer's Lament
My family is one of writers. My mother, father, myself, and my four siblings have each written something. Although, my mother is the only published one of the bunch. I am very pleased, however, to say that I'm not far behind! Back to topic, my mother is self-published on to many sites, including Amazon and Smashwords. Having read all of her books(although I may be biased), I can honestly say she is an amazing writer. However. The curse that clings to most who self-publish has also affected my mother. Getting people to know that her books even exist, let alone read them, is a challenge! People think that, because the author isn't published by
JROTC Military Ball
So yesterday, April 20th, was our school's first annual military ball. First off, it was pretty fun and amazing. There were four hours of ceremonies with Dinner in between, but it didn't seem like it took long at all, and the speeches given were interesting and captured your attention well. I guess what I'm trying to say is, not only was it fun and amazing, but I got some unexpected but very welcome awards! One for Academic Achievement (can you believe that, with a 3.48 I had the highest GPA of all the Seniors?), and another for being the "Top Female Cadet" in JROTC. For the last award, I received a medal and some pins, along with a shiny, ex
Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
So my High School is doing the Musical, "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat", this year. Me and a couple of my friends joined Set Crew for the second time. Today was our second Dress Rehearsal, and if anyone here knows this version of the musical, they'd know that there is a scene where Joseph pulls a lever and bread comes from the Slot machine chute. Well, it's the set crew's job to toss down the bread that comes from the slot machine. Because today's our second-to-last rehearsal, we decided to play a little joke on the Cast. Here's how the order of bread went:

Fake Friends
Copied from !SkyChamber (https://www.deviantart.com/skychamber)
There are some people who are getting too fake here on dA. They only want posts, comments, or to see how many friends they can get. So let's see who will actually re-post this. This is a test to see who's paying attention. This is a test to see how many people in my friends list actually pay attention. Copy and re-post in your own bulletin. Lets see who the true friends are... Re-post this if you are a friend... Don't reply... Just copy and paste this in a new journal as "Fake Friends."

Frighteningly, twelve percent of people believed that bullshit. I even heard that like five percent of the American pop cancelled their credit cardsand boke up.
